| Raspberries for Google (which I usually heart) Is it just me, or does anyone else think it odd that you can use Google Checkout to rate OTHER sellers, but not to rate Google purchases?
I'm probably just mad it's been two months, my credit card has already been charged, and still no storage upgrade on my account...
Anyone have good experience sharing photos using other services? A big plus with Picasa is you can download entire albums. I hate clicking on full-size photos and downloading them one by one, or worse yet, only being able to download the crappy web sized ones.
My New Year's resolution check-in: Learning Korean On an entirely different topic, I'm learning how to type in Korean via IM. It takes me about 30 minutes to what would amount to a 5 minute conversation in English, but the key thing is I am learning how to spell in "sticks and circles". Now if only someone could tell me how to type "take pity on the poor noob" in Korean...

| Recently I heard this Chevron commercial touting driving slower as a way to save gas. Is it just me or are people driving slower now?
I'm on the fence about making a few big purchases, any advice? Dyson (DC-14, I think that's the model?) - The vacuum cleaner in my apartment is quite literally older than its inhabitants and does little to pick up dust and hair. It does a decent job of picking up bigger particles and at least the bag is easy enough to clean/empty. Ramekins - I don't really plan on making creme brulee all that often, but there are so many other uses for ramekins (just google it), that its getting hard to resist buying some. I could make individual portions of food, in addition to using it to make the standard souffle, custard, or chocolate lava cake. The idea of making miniature versions of things is really tempting too! Breville Compact Juicer - I am so lazy that I'd love to be able tojuice my 5 servings of fruit/veggies and consume it in one sitting (even adding different powders like protein, flax, vitamins). I realize it's not cheaper than buying regular juice from the store, but I could make carrot juice, soy milk, and veggie tonics often enough to make it worthwhile (feel sorry for Bobby). Mandolin - I could make my own french fries...need I say more?

| the best thing ive bought recently is my grill pan. i heart my grill pan. seriously, after work i can hardly wait to get to the store to find another new thing to grill. so far ive grilled chicken, mushrooms, asparagus, steak, kalbi, salmon, potatoes, carrots, zucchini, burgers, etc... its easy to clean and stores nicely with the pots and pans. i still want to try grilling sandwiches, bananas, pork loin, sliced ribeye (korean bbq style), and bacon.
i passed up on the cuisinart panini/grill press (foreman type thing), because it needs an outlet (not easily accessible in my kitchen) and it takes up quite a bit of counter space. also, when i looked at it in the store, the hinge and lid looked pretty flimsy.
so for all you who care, the new love in my life is my grill...:)

| Hey there,
On March 29, 2008, I will climb 1,197 steps to the 52nd floor of San Francisco’s 555 California (former B of A Building) in the premier “Genentech Climb California” event to help raise money for lung disease research and education.
Thousands of others throughout the area are climbing to raise funds for the American Lung Association as we help others breathe easier. You may think that it's crazy to climb 1,197 stairs, but I am doing so because I am able. I can breathe freely, and there are many people who are not as lucky as I.
Please visit my web page to make a tax deductible donation online at www.climbcalifornia.org (My Donation Page). Not only do you earn my respect and love, but your donation to the American Lung Association of California will support important education, advocacy and research programs in tobacco control, asthma and environmental health. Also, if I do not raise enough money to meet my fund raising goal, I will need to pay the difference out of my pocket - so every dollar counts!
Thanks! EurJean
